This requisition is for the Test & Evaluation (T&E) Flight Test Control Engineer (FTCE) Lead position for ADP reporting directly to the Director of T&E. This position will serve as FTCE competency lead for ADP in Henderson, working across our portfolio of programs/projects. This position will ensure the principles, practices, policies and procedures of the competency are applied and adhered to for each test program, unless superseded by local SOI, SOP, AFI or NAVAIRINST operations documents. The position will work with program/project Flight Test teams and team leads to offer assistance, as needed, in resolution of issues or concerns with forecasting, planning, coordinating and executing tasks. They will serve as the competency technical advisor for planning and execution of flight test programs being executed out of Henderson. They will serve as a consultant on best practices and know-how in configuration management and utilization of flight test assets.
Job duties will include overarching guidance is areas such as ground test operations, maintenance on test unique hardware, pre-flight/post-flight activities on test aircraft, flight test aircraft mod planning & execution, aircraft configuration control, coordination and staging of support equipment, facilities requirements development, aircraft test schedules and serve as a leadership liaison between maintenance and engineering management organizations.
This individual will leverage experience, know-how and the principles of the competency as they work with the flight test teams, program leadership teams and customers in planning and executing the various flight test programs/projects.
A level 5 employee Typically has 14 - 20 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with minimum 14-20
years of applicable experience
Previous Flight Test Control Engineer experience
Flight Test execution background
Aircraft Configuration Control Management background
Understanding of Flight Test principles and practices
Schematic reading /interpretation/troubleshooting
Knowledge of installed aircraft systems/subsystems and
Support equipment
Knowledge of avionics/mission systems and vehicle/utility systems
Fault isolation and/or problem analysis at the subsystem level
Good knowledge of the system/software engineering environment
Technical report writing
Must currently hold an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position
Desired Skills:
Proven experience in coordinating aircraft mod/retrofit actions
Experience at a Test Site as a ship lead or team lead
Experience and working knowledge with sustainment tools; Product Data Manager (PDM), Program Data Library (ex. JDL), Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Customer Resource Management (CRM) and Maintenance Logistics Information Systems (ex. ALIS).
Knowledge and experience with program change/configuration management and associated change boards for processing change requests with retrofit implications
Experience working with and consulting with US Service and FMS customer representatives
Military service at multiple levels of maintenance, logistics, and support of aircraft
Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate complex issues with a variety of stakeholders from highly Technical SMEs to Executive Leadership
Proposal development experience
Must be willing to mentor junior-level team members
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
