Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team as a Project Management & Proposal Development Senior. You will play a vital role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment at Lockheed Martin, supporting the development of proposals for new business opportunities. You will be responsible for compiling cost, schedule, and technical components of proposals, ensuring that all submissions meet the requirements outlined in Request for Proposal (RFP) specifications. As part of the Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) Business Ops team, you will collaborate with various departments, engaging with multiple levels of the organization contributing to growth through new business pursuits. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your analytical and organizational skills in a high-impact role that supports the company’s continued success.
What You Will Be Doing
Key Responsibilities are:
- Gather and organize cost, schedule, and technical data to develop comprehensive proposals in response to Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Ensure that all proposals comply with RFP specifications and company standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and program management to gather necessary information and inputs for each proposal development.
- Assist in formulating proposal strategies, including identifying key proposal themes and approaches that align with customer needs.
- Keep accurate records and documentation of proposal processes, decisions, and changes for future reference.
- Monitor the timeline for proposal submissions, ensuring timely delivery of all required components.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance proposal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, to align on proposal content and approach.

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• General knowledge of aircraft, systems and maintenance is helpful

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
