Description:Ready to be the HR Lead of a high performing, high producing Lockheed Martin manufacturing facility? We are seeking our newest leader, to be the HR Site Lead of this 750+ person operation comprised of salaried exempt and non-exempt production employees. This position requires a strategic thinker to serve as the business partner, supporting the General Manager and their senior leadership team. You will report through the MFC HR leadership function and will be responsible for leading and managing all HR functions and services for our Pike County Operations, in Troy, AL.

What You Will Be Doing
In addition to successfully leading HR initiatives and programs, the HR Site Lead will be responsible for assessing the needs of the business, creating and executing solutions to address those needs, while promoting employee relations within the workforce. You will become involved with initiatives that shape the future of the organization and enable the business to meet/exceed its goals and objectives. You'll be expected to excel at building effective relationships with all levels of employees at the site from our non-exempt production employees to our senior leadership team, as well as our external customers and members of the local and state community. The successful candidate will be asked to work across the entire function of HR and with their peer HR team members across the other production sites. At times, you will be required to interface and work with state and local officials, community agencies, schools and other dignitaries. Occasional travel may be required.

In this position, you will manage a staff of one HRBP. You will be responsible for setting and managing the direction of daily activities of the HR organization at Pike County Operations.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in HR or a related field
• Broad HR skill set with experience in multiple functional areas, as well as HR Business Partner roles
• Strong positive employee relations skillset
• Employment and Labor law knowledge
• Demonstration of Full Spectrum leadership skills and competencies
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive tactical execution
• Proven team and project leadership abilities
• Demonstrated ability to assess needs, design innovative solutions and drive execution
• Demonstrated ability to work and gain credibility with leadership, peers and employees of all levels
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Track record of strong performance and significant contributions to drive business success
• Position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
Desired Skills:
• Advanced degree in HR, Business or other relevant disciplines
• Experience supporting Production Operations
• Labor Relations and Positive Employee Relations Experience
• LM Production Operations knowledge
• LM HR Systems and Production systems knowledge
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
