For this position we are need an outstanding Quality Assurance Engineering Manager to help lead the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Portfolio based in Silverdale-WA, Government Operated Building.
The FBM Portfolio is an extremely important part of the Lockheed Martin Space Strategic and Missile Defense systems (SMD) Line of Business, which includes missile defense, directed energy, hypersonics, and strategic deterrence to “Deter, Defend and Defeat” foreign threats. Individuals working in SMD Quality are entrusted with
making sure this critically important collection of ultra high-tech national assets are properly designed, built, tested, and documented before putting them in the War-fighters’ hands to keep our nation safe and deter the threat of global conflict.
Diverse array of responsibilities includes:
• Processing of pre and post customer hardware delivery including contract/conformance verification, test verification, upgrade/downgrade, ready for issue, alteration, and returns
• Non-destructive test onsite and offsite including management of hourly personnel
• Prepare Quality Assurance section of proposals and Basis of Estimates (BOE)
• Develop and flow-down program Quality Assurance requirements
• Develop and manage databases and associated key business metrics
• Develop and lead business processes to measure and improve quality performance and update/improve procedures as necessary
• Responsible and accountable for developing effective methods and initiating improvements that will drive and improve overall quality performance
• Conduct quality assurance and cost data analysis
• Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
• Support various program reviews including preparing and presenting information to LM and customer leadership
• Collaborate with leaders from various functions to assure compliance and continuous improvement
• Provide local customer interface, including with leadership of the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
• Coach, manage, guide, and develop personnel to become our future leaders
• Travel is required

This position is located in Space Coast USA: Titusville, FL.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or higher level degree from an accredited college
• Demonstrated Leadership/Management experiences
• Proposal experience or cost and/ or resource estimating experiences
• US Citizenship required, as well as the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated Leadership/Management (L-coded) experience of 3+ years
• Demonstrated experience working with suppliers on hardware design, development, production and testing activities
• Bachelor’s or higher level degree from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry, etc.).
• Effective time management skills and proven ability to work with minimal oversight and meet deadlines
• Experience with Program Quality, establishing Quality Management System, and compliance to the QMS
• Ability to communicate and influence others in a concise, data driven manner, including customers and leaders
• Effective interpersonal skills, including the
ability to deliver presentations to customers and executive leadership
• Must have highly refined problem-solving skills
• A great team mate that can work with multiple subject areas in matrixed organizations
• Results focused with effective time- management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership (FSL) skills
• Experience in engaging with Government and US military customers
• Military and/or aerospace/defense company leadership position for at least two years
• Must demonstrate an innate ability to adhere and communicate effectively to diverse groups, and multiple levels of leadership
• Supply Chain Quality experience
• Design engineering experience
• Production engineering or production quality experience
• Program management experience
• Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement,
Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Cost Account Management (CAM) experience• Understanding of industry standards such as AS9100, AS9102 and MDA Assurance Provisions (MAP)
• Supplier Evaluation and Audit experience
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP Systems
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing
environments while meeting customer
requirements
• ASQ certification such as CMQOE, CQE, CSQE, etc.
• Aerospace or Defense Quality Assurance
experience
• Basis of Estimate (BOE) preparation
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
