The selected candidate will manage the negotiation and execution of contract deliverables and requirements.
Candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the RMS Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) F-35 Training Market Segment and will be dotted line to the F-35 Training Market Segment Vice President.
THE WORK
Responsibilites include reviewing internal proposlas, contract modifications, data and other documentation, preparing contractual correspondence, refining and delivering contractual documents (IWTAs), and maintenance of project files in Lockheed’s SharePoint library. Reviews, conducts staff coordination as necessary and negotiates delivery of contract modifications and proposals.
The Senior Contracts Manager must be a self-starter, be able to work in a team environment, be collaborative, and provide contractual support and guidance to other
assigned program personnel. Candidate must develop and maintain strong working relationships at all levels, and be adept at dealing with internal and external customers, program team members and industry peers, including executive management. Must be able to work effectively and independently in a dynamic, complex environment. Must be flexible and able to establish priorities for multiple tasks. Candidate should display excellent problem solving, creativity in finding better ways to achieve goals, and a desire to assist in growing the business and gaining
efficiencies.
The role will require regular onsite work at RMS Orlando location.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited
college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
• Federal contracting, negotiation, and
administration experience with DoD contracts.
• Solid working knowledge of the FAR / DFAR and CAS, FMS Contracting.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills.
• Full spectrum understanding of DoD Government contracts and business related skills.
• Full understanding of the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) and skilled at management of negotiated RFPs.
• Demonstrated mastery of Full Spectrum
Leadership imperatives; fully capable of leading team of contracts professionals.
• Demonstrated previous team leadership in a supervisory role.
Desired Skills:
• Masters degree or Juris Doctor with at
least 10 years of related professional experience in progressively larger-scope leadership roles.
• Strategic mindset and keen business acumen
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a team player who is a problem solver and self-starter.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments concurrently.
• Ability to complete tasks without oversight and supervision.
• Knowledge of DOD appropriations process.
• Subject matter expert on FAR and DFAR.
• Working Knowledge of Lockheed Martin IWTA Policies and process.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
