Description:
You will be the Subcontract Manager for the ADSW line of business. Our team is responsible for leading dynamic and complex programs, driving success through strategic subcontract management, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of subcontract managers in developing and executing proposal, negotiation, and cost reduction strategies that drive program success. You will work closely with customers, program leadership, and cross-functional teams to achieve milestone objectives and manage performance to committed schedules. Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading a team of subcontract managers in proposal development, negotiation, and cost reduction strategies
• Interfacing directly with customers, program leadership, and direct reports to drive program success
• Developing and reporting on supply chain proposal RFP development strategies
• Driving risk and opportunity management with subcontractors, including risk mitigation and burn-down planning
• Ensuring completion of milestone objectives and managing performance to committed proposal schedules and contractual requirements
• Developing cost reduction strategies in coordination with program teams to support production cut-in, block upgrade programs, and second sourcing efforts

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Development of supply chain proposal, negotiations and contracting strategies
• Ability to develop solutions to problems in a dynamic environment
• Risk and Opportunity Management for Supply Chain Proposals and Execution Scope
• Must be able to manage a team
• Must be able to lead a team of Supply Chain professionals and be able to train others and develop employees
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

• Demonstrated performance for continuous improvement.
• Able to work closely with suppliers and subordinates and can work with all levels of management and present data proficiently to executive leadership.

• FAR And DFAR Knowledge

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
