p> You will be a Program Manager for the Solid Rocket Motor Product Center (SRM PC) team, leading activities that support the design, test, qualification, and transition to production of Lockheed Martin's internally developed Solid Rocket Motors (SRMs). Our team is responsible for augmenting the SRM industrial base and achieving critical company objectives.
What You Will Be Doing
The Solid Rocket Motor Product Center Program Management Manager (SRM PC PM) has the opportunity to make a substantial impact toward a number of critical company objectives related to augmenting the SRM industrial base. The SRM PC PM is responsible to lead activities that support the design, test, qualification and transition to production of Lockheed Martin’s internally developed Solid Rocket Motors (SRMs). Specific activities include strong collaboration with the manufacturing and Prod Ops teams who are responsible to “make” motor subcomponents (in Dallas, Archbald, and Owego) ensuring they’re delivered on time to meet schedule for the assembly and build of SRMs.
The SRM Program Manager is also responsible to work closely with the Prod Ops and facilities teams to establish the SRM Energetics Lab (Troy, AL), bringing energetics formulation and testing capabilities on-line for the Corporation.
Additionally, the SRM PM is responsible for new business pursuits, whether helping to execute proposal responses and/or collaborate with LM internal Program’s regarding international business capture.
The position directly reports to the Director of the SRM PC. Your responsibilities will include:
• Close collaboration with the SRM PC Sr PM assisting with the successfully execution, development, qualification, transition and cut-in to production
• Oversight of diverse cross-functional teams
• Manage schedule, technical, and financial performance which includes IMS planning, manpower planning, defining Earned Value Milestones (EV-lite), and spend plans
• Manage NBAE, Capital, OSCER, OH cycles and required inputs to secure funding
• Risk and Opportunity management
• Driving affordability initiatives to meet DTC and AUPC targets
• Maintaining commonality objectives
• Developing Rough Order of Magnitude (ROMs) to estimate scope
• Oversight and participation with RFIs, RFPs, and white papers

Further Information About This Opportunity:
This a full-time telecommuting role
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or other technical experience
Previous Development Program Management or Technical execution experience
Ability to support travel on an as needed basis, up to 20% of time (this amount is dependent upon work location)
Strong written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
Must be a U.S citizen and have the ability to obtain a Security clearance
Desired Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or other technical experience with no less than 10 years of related experience
Missiles system development experience
Familiarity with Production Operations
Experience with proposal development and negotiations, and contract baselining/start up
Solid Rocket Motor experience
Direct management of others
Familiarity with process for international business relationships
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
