Job Responsibilities
Description:You will be the Industrial Engineering Manager for our Operations Support Team. Our team is responsible for driving continuous improvement and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Industrial Engineering Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams in identifying and implementing process improvements, optimizing production workflows, and maximizing resource utilization. You will leverage your technical expertise in industrial engineering and strong leadership skills to guide teams and drive results across the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading and developing teams of industrial engineers and support staff to achieve operational excellence
• Coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, and work assignments
• Overseeing studies and projects related to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems
• Collaborating with facilities engineers to plan and design facilities
• Implementing process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement • Analyzing problems and developing practical solutions to improve operational efficiency

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial or operations engineering
• 2+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of process optimization, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP systems, Simulation
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage conflict, drive results and be a change agent.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and implement practical solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
• Experienced with SAP
• Experienced with Business Area interactions and business process standardization.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint,
Access, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g., robotics, automation, IoT).
• Strong project management experience and familiarity with methodologies like Agile or PMP.
• Ability to adapt to changing production demands and challenges.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
