Join Lockheed Martin Aeronautics as a Manufacturing Support Team Member Sr and play a critical role in the success of the C-130J Hercules program, the world’s most versatile airlifter. Based in Marietta, GA, this position offers an exciting opportunity to support production, drive process improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Production Support:
• Provide hands-on support for production operations in a team-based manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth workflows, resolve production challenges, and optimize processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Engage in activities across production planning, total quality management, material management, and process reengineering.
• Partner with equipment and facilities engineering teams to address operational needs.
Team Facilitation and Training:
• Facilitate self-directed work teams, empowering them to achieve production goals.
• Deliver training in core skills to teams and peers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Customer Interaction:
• Work with internal and external customers to address product planning, resolve issues, and implement process improvements.
• Ensure customer requirements are met with quality and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience relating to aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, assembly, &/or modifications.

• Experience planning, correcting, &/or leading projects of work.

• Production / shop floor Experience.
Desired Skills:
• Effective communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical details.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
• Proven ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers and teams.
• 5 yrs experience relating to aircraft manufacturing, assembly or modifications.
• Experience with repair on the production floor of the C130.
• Working knowledge and access to computer
systems such as SFM, QADS, &/or DIMS
• Experience mentoring and providing on-the-job training related to quality control methods, techniques and compliance requirements to the workforce.
• Ability to plan, orchestrate maintenance actions in support of Production goals and schedule
• Ability to build and maintain a strong network or utilize their knowledge or experiences to influence solutions that benefits organizational goals.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
