As a Maintenance Trainer supporting Lockheed Martin in Johnstown, PA, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and delivering technical training programs. Your expertise will ensure team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills to safely maintain, repair, and operate aircraft, systems, and equipment in alignment with Lockheed Martin’s high standards of quality and safety.

What You Will Be Doing
• Develop and Deliver Training: Create and conduct classroom and hands-on technical instruction on aircraft maintenance, repair, and operations.
• Analyze Training Needs: Assess operational challenges and future requirements to design targeted training programs that address skill gaps and ensure workforce readiness.
• Create Training Materials: Write, edit, and produce technical manuals, instructional content, and audiovisual aids for effective knowledge transfer.
• Maintain Training Records: Oversee company-wide training programs, ensuring accurate documentation of training and qualification records.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with various divisions to identify training needs, develop curriculum, and support maintenance training programs.
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with technical advancements, training methodologies, and instructional techniques to continuously improve training programs.
• Coordinate External Training: Manage relationships with external contractors to support technical training needs and programs.

• Experience in a classroom or lab setting
• Experience as a C-130 or F-16 Mechanic or Assembler
• Knowledge of maintenance practices, technical manuals, and operational safety procedures
Desired Skills:
• Experience creating technical manuals and audiovisual training aids
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin aircraft, systems, and equipment
• Knowledge of training program management and qualification record systems
• Ability to adapt training techniques to suit diverse learning styles
• Proficiency in analyzing operational requirements and designing targeted training solutions
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and deliver technical training materials

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
