Job Responsibilities
Description:The Lockheed Martin (LM) Aeronautics Field Operations Quality Manager will serve as the Quality & Mission Success (Q&MS) liaison between Enterprise Sustainment Quality Management in Fort Worth, Texas and LM Site Management for Luke AFB and multiple international locations. The selected individual will manage the Quality department staff for F-35 support, both Field Operations and Modification, Upgrade, and Overhaul, located at Luke AFB, Arizona. Additionally, this individual will act as the primary Quality Assurance interface with international Field Operation Site Management, Partners, customers, and Field teams.
Responsibilities include:
•Coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, hiring and training, performance assessment, salary, time-cards and recognition/disciplinary actions for Luke AFB, Quick Reaction Team (QRT), and OCONUS sites.
•Responsible for resource allocation, work assignments and establishing/maintaining an effective business rhythm. Responsible for all aspects of quality for assigned area of responsibility.
•Communicates quality requirements, concerns and expectations to customers.
•Active participant in risk and opportunity management processes. Ensures cost commitments and financial responsibilities are met.
•Supports development and implementation of Quality Assurance plans, policies, and audit schedules with site personnel. Works directly with Enterprise Sustainment Quality and Field teams for interpretation of LM specifications and processes.
•Ensures effective implementation of quality management system within area of responsibility. Ensures appropriate identification and flow down of quality requirements (internal and contractual) and effective implementation of quality requirements.
•Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions.
•Coordinating with Enterprise Sustainment Quality personnel on quality issues and information flow of site activities and program issues. Ensures timely review, publication and control of required documents.
•Perform periodic audits of Quality processes; such as ground operations, FOD and Tool Control, Procedure compliance, Calibration and other Quality processes.
•Manages the conduct of internal process audits and surveillance ensuring compliance to applicable command media, procedure compliance, and contractual requirements. Ensures product acceptance and delivery per established process and program requirements.
•Management of Quality Supervisors, Representatives, leads and Quality Control Inspectors performing oversight and inspections at various locations to assure adherence to the Quality Management system and Safety of Flight.
•Conduct and/or manage investigations of any non-conformity, incident, accident, mishap or infraction through closure, including evaluation and acceptance of responses.
•Training personnel on LM Quality Assurance systems for documenting non-conformances.
•Act as the point of contact and liaison for Ground Government Flight Representatives (GGFR) communications. Maintains close integration with Government and Maintenance customers to quickly adapt to changing environment and responsible for maintaining customer relationship both externally and internally.
•Be willing to travel based on mission needs and capable of working 1st or 2nd shifts, dependent on mission needs.
•Must be a US Citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Have a valid state Driver's License.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
• Minimum 15 years' experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Must posses 4 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Experience working military aircraft platforms in a flightline environment.
• Experience with Quality Assurance Plans and Policies.
• Experience with audits associated with AS9100/9110 Quality Management system and with DCMA-I-8210.
• Experience with aircraft maintenance information systems (i.e.: ALIS, IMIS type information systems)
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:
• Bachelor degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
• Excellent Verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly and competently communicate with all levels of management , technical experts, floor level personnel, customer representatives, US and Foreign military representatives, and JPO/DCMA representatives.
• Experience leading geographically separated teams of employees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with AS9100 Internal Audit processes and procedures and with DCMA 8210 compliance requirements and operating procedures.
• Working knowledge of the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and experience with F-35 Action Request.
• Ability to develop work schedules and assign tasks, to work in a flexible schedule environment, lead a diverse workforce.
• Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating policies related to Aircraft Maintenance, Quality, Tool and Control, Confined Space Program, Hazardous Waste Management, Safety, Training and Security.
• Green Belt Certification or other Continuous Improvement experience.
• Ability to work independently and without direct supervision and must have excellent communication teaming skills.
• Self-starter; ability to multitask
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
