The Work
Seeking candidates to fill the position of F-35 Support Equipment (SE) Field Support Team Lead directly supporting the 56th Fighter Wing at Luke AFB, Phoenix AZ. This position as the Support Equipment Team Lead will provide supervisory oversight to employees supporting F-35 Sustainment Operations at Luke AFB.
Managerial functions include:
- Daily engagement with employees on site supporting Luke AFB
- Carry out annual performance reviews on all employees
- Daily / weekly overview and approval of employee timecard submittals
- Administrative actions for any given employee in the organization
- Planning and execution of staffing actions for new or replacement employees on staff
- Host weekly employee engagement discussions
- Mentoring of employees seeking job or career progression
- Liaise with LM Human Resource representatives to address all employee-related matters that are not easily resolved without HR involvement
- Carry out recognition actions for high performing employees as well as disciplinary actions for various circumstances of unsatisfactory employee performance
- Review and approve travel authorizations for employees.
- Lastly, be the point of contact between the employees on site and the SE Sustainment Assoc. Manager in Yuma, AZ

Job position requires this role to operate on site at Luke, AFB, Phoenix, Arizona. Candidates applying for this role must live within proximity to Luke, AFB or be willing to relocate to the local area near the base. The candidate will provide technical guidance and logistics support for a broad range of F-35 Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Advise internal and external customers on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement of company technical products, programs and systems. Provide expertise for resolving technical problems and troubleshooting products to customer satisfaction. Provide support equipment familiarization to customers on full spectrum of F-35 SE product line. Work will be done at customer site and/or government bases. Use engineering data to determine correct equipment configuration and to identify or help define design deficiencies that limit equipment utility in the customer’s environment. Consult with GSE equipment managers, engineers, reliability engineering and suppliers to resolve customer equipment issues involving safety, usability, reliability and availability. Collect, archive and submit GSE readiness status. Identifies reliability and maintainability issues that affect readiness trends. Job may require flexible work schedule to provide coverage for on-site customer requirements, to include possibility of weekend work requirements.

Successful candidate will serve as the Team Lead SE FSR at Luke AFB, AZ, focused on the management, support and sustainment of F-35 Program SE in use at this location.

**Candidates be advised: this position operates in direct support of a deployable F-35 fighter squadron. Employee in this role may be required to deploy with the customer on peacetime and wartime military operations for defined and potentially undefined durations, and may be required to obtain and maintain customer required deployment readiness qualifications leading up to potential deployments.**

Basic Qualifications:
• Managerial background in military or civilian ground support equipment sustainment operations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient using MS Office Software: Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook.
Candidate must have an active DoD Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Prior military flightline maintenance experience in AGE / GSE sustainment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Keen ability to be a self-starter.
• Support Equipment data management experience.
• Experience with military standard maintenance practices.
• Strong personal work ethic and maintenance.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
