Job Responsibilities
Description:What We’re Doing: We are working with the U.S. Navy’s Advanced Sensor Technologies (AST) program office to support intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) efforts. We work to develop solutions to transfer AST multi-intelligence data from OCONUS (outside the continental U.S.) to CONUS-based (continental U.S.) locations to help enable secure world-wide user access. We are impacting the fleet and our product users daily.
The Work:
• Designs and plan network communications systems
• Develop subsystem requirements and verification activities and criteria to ensure the system and subsystem requirements are being verified through the assessment of program analysis, test and demonstration activities.
• Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
• Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and resources for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
• Conducts testing of network designs

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
• Experience with systems engineering ideally involving communications systems, to include terrestrial/networking-based and/or satellite-based.
• Experience in systems engineering integration and test for HW and SW applications
• A team player with the demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve common goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with suppliers and peers
Desired Skills:
• Experience creating network diagrams and designs
• Working knowledge of CISCO / Juniper network devices and configurations
• Experience working with TACLANES
• Software automation preferred working knowledge of Linux/Bash Scripting
• Familiarity with communications subsystems hardware and interfaces
• Experience/interest with data science
• Experience with AI/ML
• Ability to define end-to-end performance and functionality of a communications system, consistent with mission needs and CONOPS
• Experience with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imager and Moving Target Indicators (MTI) intel/analysis
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
