Lockheed Martin Space has an immediate need for a Systems Integration / Test Engineering Supervisor for the ARTEMIS Program ORION Production Floor.
The Systems Integration / Test Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for the following:
• Supervise, lead, and direct the Orion Production Floor ensuring the assembly, and test of all hardware & requirements are met.
• Manage Day to Day Activities of the Technician Workforce attending Operations and Scheduling Meetings, Issuing Job Assignments, Scheduling Vacations, Time Off, Overtime and Resource Allocation.
• Provide Daily Activity Reports to Stakeholders, highlighting critical activities and major occurrences.
• Identify Programmatic Issues, capturing them in a professional concise manner and achieve real time solutions.
• Review and approval of Manufacturing Work Instructions and PO Closures.
• Responsible for ensuring the all requirements are met prior to performing Product Acceptance.
• Direct respective team members to ensure preparations for AS9100 and other internal LM audits are complete.
• Continuously review process methods, procedures, process performance trends, etc., develop, and deploy corrective and preventive actions to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and / or reliability.
• Enable the Floor Operations Group to fulfill the team goals through excellent communication, providing flow-down direction, while energizing and providing opportunities for training, growth, rotations, as well as mentoring the team.
• Ensure adequate Technician resources are scheduled and available to support multiple shifts as needed. This position affects program performance and guides quality into all areas through all program phases with an independent focus on Mission Assurance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience working with & facilitating communication among a wide range of processing support teams and individuals.
• Experience as a leader of a technician team.
• Experience with Excel, metrics, key performance indicators, and/or other metrics and data visualization software or equivalent.
• Experience in Aerospace/Space Programs.
• Due to the work location, US Citizenship required.
Desired Skills:
• Exceptional People, Leadership & Communication skills allowing the ability to work with & facilitate communication among a wide range of processing support teams and individuals.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and resolution abilities.
• Crane Lift Experience providing Technical Expertise on Critical / Flight Hardware Lifts, Authoring of Lift Documents, Performance of actual Lifts with Review / Signoff on Lift Production Orders.
• Experience with Human Spaceflight NASA/DCMA customers.
• Ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules.
• Understanding of export control and ITAR requirements for working with international suppliers.
• Knowledge of SAP operating system, VECAMS, EPDM, P2P & Automation Framework.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Lean/six-sigma engineering methodology experience.
• Experience working with flight Aerospace hardware in a clean room setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of non-conformance handling and disposition.
• Possess Excellent use of computer systems related to documenting and tracking work instructions and non-conformances in conjunction with office suite.
• Ability to multi-task, be thorough and detail oriented, with job closure and problem-solving skills.
• Candidate must also demonstrate excellent ability to understand and communicate technical issues both verbally and produce detailed presentations on a regular basis in addition the ability to present technical data to senior stakeholders on a regular basis will be required.
• Daily tasks can also include the use and development of various data analysis tools to spot and identify trends.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to achieve and maintain certification in technical skills as required by the role.
• Ability to work alternate shifts, weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to travel as required
• Ability to present program status and technical information to stakeholders, senior stakeholders and the NASA customer

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
