THE WORK
As a Senior Capture Manager, you will be a key player in driving strategic business growth for MMAD. You will work directly with the Strategic Captures team to identify and secure future domestic and international opportunities, ensuring Lockheed Martin remains positioned for long-term success. In this role, you will lead creative discussions across the Department of Defense (DOD) stakeholder landscape with a focus on shaping MMAD’s technology roadmaps to align with strategic objectives.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Identifying, qualifying, pursuing, and capturing new business opportunities in both domestic and international markets to advance next-generation Lockheed Martin technology.
• Developing, reviewing, and executing capture and customer engagement plans.
• Establishing, maintaining, and expanding relationships within the domestic and international defense communities.
• Collaborating with Capture Managers, Program Managers, and Technical Subject Matter Experts to develop strategic proposals.
• Effectively communicating MMAD capture plans to executive leadership.

• Experience in business development, capture management, or program management within the defense sector.
• Ability to develop and execute capture strategies, engagement plans, and proposals.

Basic Qualifications:
· 15+ years of military, business development, and/or program management experience, specifically related to Radar, Artificial Intelligence and/or Distributed Architecture Technologies
· Experience leading new business and campaign development as well as capture planning, proposal development and execution
· Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver briefs to executives with appropriate level of messaging
· Experience analyzing DoD customer requirements and future needs to align with technology solutions
Secret Clearance or Ability to Obtain
Desired Skills:
-Knowledge of Lockheed Martin radar products and services and how they may be applied in asymmetric applications to create unique systems of systems solutions to address customer needs
Direct experience leading complex projects and cross functional teams
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
