What You Will Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Completion Supervisor at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Greenville, SC, you will lead a team in the final stages of F-16 Block 70 production, ensuring aircraft meet quality, safety, and operational standards while staying on schedule. You will oversee daily operations, enforce compliance with safety regulations, implement process improvements, and collaborate with internal teams, DCMA, and Program Management to maintain seamless production flow. Additionally, you will manage resources, address logistical challenges, and drive team performance through training, coaching, and recognition initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on aircraft readiness and delivery while fostering a high-performance production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of skilled technicians in the final stages of F-16 Block 70 production, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and production standards.
- Implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and meet delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams, DCMA, and Program Management to ensure seamless production flow and successful aircraft completion.
- Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize production and resolve logistical challenges.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching and feedback, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Promote a culture of Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention and ensure compliance with certification requirements.
- Identify skills gaps and provide training and development to enhance employee engagement and overall team effectiveness.
- Ensure production milestones are met, maintaining a focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Aviation Production, Maintenance, Aircraft Systems Operations & Repair or Overhaul (MMRO) Operations, and / or Phased Inspection Experience.
- Experience leading a small to medium team to meet critical schedule milestones, resolve complex and/or time sensitive technical or operational issues.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Experience interacting with internal and external customers.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with briefing multiple levels of leadership.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college, university, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments while mitigating production constraints.
- Previously awarded an Air Force, Marine, or Navy 7 level discipline skill level rating or possess equivalent civilian experience with associated credential such as an FAA
“Airframe and Powerplant" or "Inspection Authorization" license.
- Systems assembly, repair, and troubleshooting experience.
- 4th or 5th generation fighter aircraft experience is a plus.
- Must be able to obtain a "Secret" security clearance.
- Ability to create and utilize metrics related to performance from various platforms.
- Working knowledge of Manufacturing Systems including, PDM, MRP, SFM, and EWI.
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
- Demonstrated ability to create, monitor and report on all executive operations metrics.
- Working Knowledge of Crew Plans and methodology behind use of.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and 5S/6S processes.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
