The Industrial Engineer Senior Staff (IE) in Schimatari, Greece will be a modification/sustainment IE that analyzes sequence of operations, work flow, and manpower loading to improve efficiencies for sustainment of F-16 aircraft.
Studies and completes data analysis pertaining to sustainment performance, cost control, cost reduction, and other related production systems using tools like Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, OneNote, Project, or data analysis tools. On the basis of these studies, monitors the development and implementation changes to sustainment workflow, manpower changes, or changes to the schedule. Develops detailed work plans in collaboration with the Operations Leadership team. Establishes methods for maximum utilization of sustainment personnel. Facilitates continuous improvement activities as required. Completes other projects as assigned.
Other responsibilities include:
• Apply industrial engineering concepts and techniques to analyze sequences of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in aircraft sustainment environments.
• Plan and prepare schedules to support aircraft modifications based on engineering plans, production specifications, plant capacity, availability of parts, and manpower requirements.
• Use critical path methodology and application in network development, analysis, and problem resolution
• Interface with program management, mod lead, technical lead, customer, and functional leads to drive tasks to completion.
• Competently use computers and other systems to access, maintain, and manipulate data.
• Provide direct floor support including creation of crew plans, burn down charts, and performance metrics to surface problems and optimize production.
• Responsible for weekly maintenance of project timelines which includes updates, analysis, and the ability to simulate various scheduling scenarios; readjusts
schedules as needed.
• Coordinates with Hellenic Aerospace Industries to determine status of projects and advise management on the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential modification issues.
• Establishes methods for maximum utilization of modification personnel and facilitates continuous improvement activities as required. Completes other
projects as assigned.
• Assist teams in the implementation of changes in manufacturing, engineering and service operations to improve key performance indicators.
• Document processes and contribute to modification success.
• Must be a United States (US) citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with at least 5 years of Industrial Engineering-related experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience, specifically in creating, monitoring and reporting metrics related to cost and schedule.
• Experience developing resource loading plans, manpower scheduling or critical path methodology.
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related discipline
• Excel Macros, Access database knowledge, Tableau
• Experience with Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) or related ERP system
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices
• Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
• Experience in applications of learning curves
• Greenbelt Certified
• Aircraft Production, Maintenance, Modification, Repair and/or Overhaul Experience
• Simulation and modeling in a production environment
• Earned Value Management (EVM), an understanding of Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
