Description:

You will be a Field Service Representative serving as the Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Battery Lead with the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Missile Defense system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and will advise and assist the Royal Saudi Air Defense Force (RSADF) in the operation, maintenance, march-order, and emplacement of the THAAD system in accordance with established Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), Technical Manuals (TMs), policies and procedures.



What You Will Be Doing
As the Field Service Representative you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of 2-5 Contractor Logistics Support personnel and will report directly to the THAAD KSA Program.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Act as a CLS Point of Contact (POC) to RSADF operational leadership and provide advice and status on THAAD system maintenance actions
• Supervise and direct the activities of CLS personnel
• Ensure CLS performs in accordance with US Army Material Maintenance Management concepts and procedures
• Provide field and sustainment level maintenance support to KSA THAAD equipment
• Support the RSADF in managing and monitoring the maintenance and sustainment program to include scheduling services, system upgrades, and modifications
• Perform maintenance actions and troubleshooting above the level of the Enhanced Operator/Maintainers (EOM)
• Demonstrate proficiency in oral and written communication to be able to provide the RSADF with clear and succinct information and explanations of THAAD system maintenance requirements and the status of ongoing maintenance activities
• Establish trust and confidence by creating and maintaining open, candid lines of communication with the RSADF, representatives of the U.S. Government, and LM leadership
• Responsible for transition training of RSADF maintainers from CLS led effort to RSADF led effort
• Receives overall guidance and priorities from respective RSADF Commander; ensures information disseminated to CLS members
• Reports maintenance status of their location and administrative requirements to leadership
• Requests Engineering Reach-Back support for complex maintenance issues
• Conducts daily maintenance meetings with RSADF Commander (or designated representative)
• Communicates essential information regarding events to leadership that may have an immediate and significant effect on current planning and operations

Duties are performed on location with the KSA THAAD Battery. Candidate is expected to live in housing near the site of the KSA THAAD Battery.

Basic Qualifications:
• Relevant experience working as a Field Service Technician (or similar position)
• Previous experience with the THAAD system (or similar system)
• Active U.S. Department of Defense SECRERT Security Clearance
• A valid U.S. Passport with no restrictions on travel
• Willingness to perform these duties in KSA for the total duration of this assignment
• Ability to meet KSA Iqama (residence permit/visa) requirements
• Candidate may also be required to take a post-offer, pre-employment physical to determine deployability capabilities as defined by the contract
Desired Skills:
• Technical engineering degree and / or military background
• Previous experience as a THAAD or Patriot Field Service Technician or Contractor Logistics Support Technician
• Previous experience as a THAAD CLS Team Lead experience
• CompTIA A + Certified
• Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Certification
• Comp TIA Security + Certified
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Previous experience working with the KSA armed forces
• Previous experience executing maintenance management in a military environment (US Army, foreign military, or similar)
• Basic knowledge of:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings/schematics
- Applying fault detection/isolation procedures
- Networks (e.g. LAN, WAN, IP address schemes)
- Unix and Linux
- Electrical/mechanical aptitude
- Hydraulic operations
- Army Supply System
- Ability to apply appropriate Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation
- Ability to manage and account for inventory

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
