Job Responsibilities
Description:
You will be the Field Service Technician (FST) for the AME - CLS team. Our team is responsible for providing critical maintenance and repair support for the HIMARS program in Australia, ensuring the effective operation of the HIMARS FMTV, associated trailers, and material handling equipment systems.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for advising and assisting with the maintenance, repair, and operation of complex military equipment, as well as providing contractor maintenance support to Australian military personnel. You will utilize your technical expertise to ensure the proper utilization of systems, tools, and facilities, following established procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Advising and assisting with maintenance, repair, and operation of HIMARS FMTV and associated systems
• Providing contractor maintenance support to Australian military personnel
• Utilizing system tools, test equipment, and facilities in accordance with established procedures
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with customers
• Obtaining and maintaining an interim Secret Clearance

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must be able to obtain an interim Secret Clearance prior to start.
Must obtain a passport within the first 30 days of employment.
Because of the need to obtain a visa immediately, a condition of employment is the ability to produce certified proof of the highest level of education completed.
Candidate may also be required to take a post-offer, pre-employment physical to determine ability to deploy to Australia.
Proficient in industry standard maintenance practices.
Good Communication & Verbal skills
Proficient using MS Office Software including;
Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook.
Experience troubleshooting, using engineering drawings and technical data to maintain equipment.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with DoD maintenance manuals;
• Experience with military standard maintenance practices as a 91B.
• Professional focused on mission success.
• Experience in international location supporting aircraft manufacturing operations.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
