What You Will Be Doing:
As the Propulsion Program Manager within our Skunk Works Programs Integrated Systems portfolio, this role offers the unique opportunity to manage an Propulsion Integration from start to finish. You will be an integral leader within a multi-site, cross-functional team, working in digital engineering, model-based design, and advanced manufacturing to deliver next-generation air systems. Beyond this, you will also:
• Oversee full lifecycle program execution, from development through procurement, fabrication, assembly, coating, and testing.
• Lead and integrate multi-functional teams spanning Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Production Operations, Production Engineering, and Quality & Mission Success.
• Develop and manage program strategies, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and earned value (EV) performance, ensuring financial and contractual commitments are met.
• Identify risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation plans to keep the program on track.
• Serve as a customer and stakeholder interface, fostering strong relationships across internal and external teams.
• Manage a major supplier and lead complex issue resolution across engineering, supply chain, and production teams.
• Drive continuous improvement, leveraging agile principles and digital transformation tools to optimize performance.

With experience leading large cross-functional teams, you excel at managing complex requirements, driving performance, and building strong customer relationships. Your adaptability, accountability, and strategic mindset enable you to navigate challenges and deliver exceptional results.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher education
• Program or Project Management experience
• Experience leading teams and collaborating in a cross-functional environment
• Experience managing the development, procurement, and/or assembly of a complex air vehicle or weapon system
• Cost Account Manager (CAM) or Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
• Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience managing a major sub-contract
• Experience with digital engineering, manufacturing, and management tools
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Ability to operate with minimal direction from senior management
• Experience presenting to Lockheed Martin and customer senior leadership
• Experience working within a highly dynamic environment
• Demonstrated ability to drive tasks to completion
• Strong written and verbal communications skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
