Quality Engineer Stf (Level 4)
The position is for an Fort Worth Process Compliance Surveillance Program Lead covering 2nd Shift, reporting directly to the Manager of Quality Ground Regulations Assurance.
The successful applicant must have working knowledge of AMS 9000, DCMA 8210.1, QADs, ICA, PCAMs, Tableau, WordPress, DOMMs, JTD, OARs and have the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
- Ensures surveillance plans and are performing periodic risk analysis.
- Develops, implements, and maintains PCS training curricula in conjunction with Factory and Field Training.
- Provide/coordinate PCS communications throughout LM Aero.
- Create/maintain surveillance checklists in the Internal Surveillance Database.
- Review and complete changes requested to checklists in the Internal Surveillance Database.
- Approve assessors in the Internal Surveillance Database through the OARS system.
- Engage with PCS teams on a regular basis to monitor PCS performance
- Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.
- Secret Clearance needed to start.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in Quality, Operations, Engineering.
- Military maintenance background with fixed wing aircraft a must, specifically in the areas of F-35, U2 and F-16.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications, and apply knowledge in troubleshooting technical issues and developing/validating solutions.
- Strong communication skills including the ability to interface effectively with executive leadership on strategic and tactical issues affecting the quality of products and services.
- Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, set priorities and provide succinct direction in a dynamic business environment.
- Demonstrated track record of working with multiple customers and forming strong internal and external customer relationships.
- Ability to balance teaming and flexibility while maintaining independence and ensuring process adherence.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and drive change.
- Experience with problem solving/root cause analysis and process management.
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated familiarity and proficiency with Q&MS systems and F-35 Production and Sustainment processes specifically in the areas of Business Objects, WordPress, DOMMS, JTD and OARs.
- Demonstrated quality management system understanding and quality science expertise in one or more of the following areas: statistical analysis & process control, sampling, six sigma, FAI, PPAP, PFMEA, process auditing or validation, root cause analysis and corrective action validations.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Lean Six Sigma Certification, and/or related Technical Background/Experience.
- Ability to handle a large amount of responsibility and autonomy with demonstrated effective development of plans and execution of assignments.
- Demonstrated Presentation skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build consensus, shape/influence opinions.
- Emerging Leadership skills and experience with project management.
- Ability to think and act strategically.
- Ability to give, receive, and act on critical feedback.
- Ability to drive the foundation for business and program performance.
- Ability to form creative partnerships to improve execution and competitive performance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
