Description:The selected candidate for this position will report to the Quality South Associate Manager and will support F-35 EMAS and Wing Operations on 2nd shift. Among the candidate’s primary responsibilities will be to ensure technical development and growth of quality analysts, quality control technicians and inspectors. The candidate will support the EMAS & Wing Operations Lead QCA with Corrective Action Request validation activities and/or projects/tasks as assigned.
The selected candidate will be expected to function as the EMAS and Wing Operations technical subject matter expert on 2nd shift. They will provide technical recommendations to Quality Management, Production Management, the Defense Contract Management Agency, and the Joint Program Office as requested.
Supports development of quality plans and procedures in accordance with customer requirements for both make and buy items. Ensures the conformance to company and regulatory standards. Initiates, reviews, analyzes, and reports on quality-related data/metrics from production, service, supplier, or process improvement activities and analyzes using statistical techniques. Interfaces as needed with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor, and subcontractor representatives to ensure process requirements are met. Supports the development of disposition and corrective actions for recurring product/process discrepancies for both make and buy items. Reviews completed assembly, process, test, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical quality records to determine data accuracy, acceptability, and completeness. Manages the quality records control process to assure adequate accountability and traceability. Develops and maintains governing procedures related to records control. Supports product acceptance and delivery per established process.
Basic Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Quality Analyst supporting the F-35 program
- Experience leading teams to achieve a desired outcome
- Understanding of Operations command media
- Demonstrated ability to critically think and work with team members to solve complex problems
- Demonstrated ability to analyze information, identify issues, and present courses of action
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with various levels of our corporation
Desired Skills:
- STEM Bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated experience providing technical training to diverse audiences
- Technical familiarity of F-35 manufacturing departments with high preference given to EMAS and Wing Operations.
- Experience reading and comprehending blueprints, engineering specifications and drawings, technical data, and planning documents.
- Established network with F-35 Program partners (e.g. NGC, BAE) and other F-35 build areas to maximize problem solving capabilities
- Demonstrated experience managing customer complaints through the Corrective Action Request process and providing internal validation prior to customer presentation

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
