Job Responsibilities
Description:OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY
Manages assigned production and non-production parts (including Make, Buy, Furnished Material, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), Government Furnished Material (GFM), Government Furnished Property (GFP), and Government Furnished Aeronautical Equipment
(GFAE), including accurate maintenance of independent and dependent requirements within ordering systems.
WORK PERFORMED
Inputs MRP planning parameters, as specified by Company policy. Maintains optimum inventory levels through evaluation and execution of order policy management, achieving minimum inventory investment and maximum turn rates. Coordinates with Change Implementation Cell (CIC) as necessary to ensure material masters accuracy.
Analyzes suggested order signals for dependent/independent requirements produced by MRP using reasonableness checks established by Company policies and procedures. Reviews discrepant conditions and/or exceptions to accomplish suggested corrective action. Releases valid orders and enters any authorized changes in quantity, schedule, miscellaneous content, or part number roll for non spares parts. Coordinates less-than lead time spares requirements accomplishing validation and maintenance using procurement systems including the ordering for parts considered Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP). Coordinates activities for the rework of parts. Analyzes and corrects scheduling/ordering deficiencies identified by MRP output data and/or identified by the customer/supplier. Initiates the resolution of discrepant dock receipts and receipts of non-receivables including drop shipments. Administers stop orders and terminations in accordance with Company procedures.
Analyzes and recommends the status and disposition of material declared Obsolete and Surplus (O&S) and applicable contract closeouts.
May provide and/or requests inventory adjustments as required to maintain inventory accuracy. Monitors for potential or actual shortages for assigned part numbers and takes action to resolve the shortage in accordance with Company procedures. Ensures just-in-time inventory for manual reorder point planning for plant and project stock parts numbers.
Maintains requirements to control domestic, co-production, and reconciles false inventory of non-17 production in the current MRP system.
Analyzes the Bill of Material to determine proper relationships, achieving desired results for requirements and replenishments. Performs substitution activity with applicable organizations to determine validity and obtain authorization. Directs temporary changes in the order Bill of Material or coordinates long-term changes in the product structure. Creates transfer order to initiate movement of material between business sites. Executes accommodations sale of material to suppliers per procedure, including the expedite and follow up of receipt of material. Follows approved procedures in support of Accommodation Sales, determines availability of materials and posts specifics of the sale.
Approves Non-Recurring Extraneous (NRE) Costs purchase requisitions.
May assist in the creation/maintenance of a Non-Production Request (NPR) submission through the product’s life cycle to support the customer.
May initiate expedited receiving report requests and receiving corrections.
Evaluates Reorder Point (ROP)/Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ) values to procure additional material or make adjustments, in accordance with Company procedures.
Assists with the coordination of team furnished equipment between teammates.
Assists in the collection of data to support status reporting including mismatch, critical and late deliveries.
Inputs Request for Engineering Action (REA) consistent with the tasks herein
Documents requirements, loans, and repairs for GFAE and GFP. May access archived records for various planning options.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office suite - Excel and Outlook.
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems such as (SAP).
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a business related major or American Production Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
