Job Responsibilities
Description:Performs purchasing of tools and materials for different departments and organizations. Reconciles invoices and resolves discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepares on-call orders for raw materials, steel and aluminum plate, angle, channel, bar, beam, tubing, expendable tools, etc. for fixture build-ups and assorted test projects. Authorizes work on “on-call” contracts and prepares billing for approval, as directed. Receives and signs off on packing sheets and/or invoices for these materials from vendors. Coordinates with others for the un-loading of material and delivery to the end-user. Creates billing of materials (BOMs) for kits and tooling shop orders. Initiates shop orders in Shop Floor Management (SFM) for tool creation manufacturing orders. Performs CribMaster maintenance activities for min/max levels, kit BOMs, item id descriptions, etc. Executes tool repair orders for jobs performed offsite by various vendors. Interacts with others to obtain information on substitution of materials, procurement time, material needs for experimental and production projects or design changes, and notifies others as applicable. Performs vendor research to determine best source for new requests considering lead times, cost, and vendor quality and competency. Orders non production material for Production Tooling. Plans and coordinates procurement of critical or not readily available parts and materials for engineering projects to meet schedule requirements. Commits to the availability date of materials and follow-ups on commitments; coordinates the selection of substitute materials.
Basic Qualifications:
Supply Chain or purchasing experience.
Inventory management and distribution experience.
Warehouse and kitting experience.
Material handling experience.
Desired Skills:
Working knowledge of SAP, Crib Master, MRP, POIS Aeronautical experience.
Strong communication skills
MS Project, MS Excel and MS Word

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
