As a Manufacturing Planner Associate Manager, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for managing spares operations, material planning, and logistics to support critical aerospace programs.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Manufacturing Planner Associate Manager, you will:
Spares Management: Oversee spares requests, mod kit support, and associated scheduling activities.
Master Data Coordination: Collect and execute demand plans, including material type, schedules, and sales order type, before SAP order entry.
MRP Collaboration: Ensure proper planning of sales orders internally with the shop or externally with buyers to meet contractual deadlines.
Data Accuracy: Maintain demand stability and ensure data accuracy within the SAP system.
Delivery Management: Request parts for manual delivery as needed and track orders through the shipping process.
Logistics Coordination: Manage Logistics Release Requirements Analyst (LRRA) activities and interface with the Demand Controller (DC) to adjust delivery schedules.
Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of experienced professionals and entry-level staff, providing mentoring and training to build a strong, collaborative environment.
Employee Engagement: Collaborate with Labor Relations and Human Resources to enhance team engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in material planning, logistics, &/or manufacturing operations.
- Experience with SAP operating software, including transactional acumen and data elements available for report/metric development
- Data manipulation background using Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Skills:
-Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
-Experience with management in a union environment (union guidelines, policies, etc.) and leadership experience managing represented and non-represented personnel
- Familiarity with quantitative and analytical data techniques
- Experience managing direct and indirect resources to achieve operational objectives
- Experience standardizing and improving operational processes
- Aerospace manufacturing processes and business model experience
- Requirements experience with a background in aggregate demand and supply
- Analyze diverse sets of data and identify underlying trends, drawing insightful and accurate inferences from data that result in sound decision-making
- Gather relevant information systematically, consider a broad ranges of issues or factors; grasp complexities and perceives relationships among problems or issues
- Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and business model
- Ability to work alone, or in a team environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
