The Work
As an Engineering Project Manager (EPM) leading technical execution of complex training infrastructure and maintenance training systems sustainment programs., you will:
• Be responsible for successful new business, execution, technical success and the performance and culture of the team that supports them.
• Serve as the F-35 Training Customer Engagement and Site Activation EPM responsible for overseeing defined Customer Engagement and Site Activation activities for all of the US and International customers for the F 35 Enterprise.
• Be responsible for one or more engineering programs or contracts.
• Provide technical support and Training System subject expertise to support PMO with customer engagement.
• Act as a direct liaison with customer team in support of Program Management Reviews (PMR), Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), Site Activation Task Force (SATAF) meetings, Sustainment Readiness Reviews (SRRs), Pre-Installation Site Surveys, Initial Operating Capability Status Reviews (IOC-SRs) and other regularly scheduled/periodically scheduled meetings.
• Communicate customer-nation unique requirements and coordinates integration/cut-in of approved changes with Training System IPTs and assist with customer-nation in defining/refining training requirements to assist IPTs in system/device development.
• Track Training System configuration through procurement and production timeline and communicates technical aspects with customer-nation.
• Work with customers to facilitate on-site training for both contractor and organic site personnel.
• Be responsible for continuing to enhance F-35 Training System processes and ensuring relevant training products are delivered per cost, schedule and technical requirements.
• Travel expected both domestic and internationally.
Please Note: This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain a Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin, as well as obtain a Special Access Program U.S. government security clearance within a reasonable time after starting the position. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in an engineering/technical
discipline from an accredited college
- Customer Engagement Experience
- Demonstrated cost, schedule, and technical
accountability & performance
- Coach or leader of teams, ensuring engineering
functions are working to development processes
and commitments
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret
clearance
- Ability to travel to other US and international locations
Desired Skills:
- Related advanced degree
- Knowledge of F-35 program or training &
simulation domain areas
- Active secret/SAP clearance with all necessary
F-35 caveats
- Significant experience with Site Activation and/or Customer Engagement events.
- Demonstrated ability to implement digital
transformation; ensuring affordability, cost
reductions and deployment timeline reductions
continue to be driven into the business

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
