The Work
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our facilities operating efficiently and safely. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Performing routine upkeep of the facility, such as painting, plumbing repairs, and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Maintaining and repairing facility equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
Identifying and responding to maintenance needs across various areas of the building, from minor adjustments to major repairs.
Collaborating with team members and external contractors to manage larger repair projects when necessary.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, as well as Lockheed Martin’s internal policies and procedures.

This position is located Grapevine, Texas.
This is a second shift position Monday - Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m..
The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders, work a scissor lift etc... work heights up to 40 feet.

Proven experience in facilities maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
A solid understanding of facility equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1-2 years of work experience carpentry, maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
Ability to perform routine equipment and facility maintenance tasks (painting, plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, etc.).
Ability to work second shift. This is a second shift position Monday - Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m..
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders, work a scissor lift etc... work heights up to 40 feet on occasion.
Desired Skills:
At least 2 years of proven experience in facilities maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
Solid understanding of facility equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to enforce safety protocols in compliance with policies.
Ability to effectively use basic hand tools and power tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
