Description:You will be a Strategic Workforce Planner for our Human Resources team, responsible for developing and implementing strategic workforce plans that align with the company's business objectives. This role will require a deep understanding of the organization's current and future workforce needs, as well as the ability to analyze labor market trends, forecast talent gaps, and develop effective solutions to address them.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Strategic Workforce Planner, your responsibilities will include:

Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborate with business leaders to develop strategic workforce plans that align with business objectives, including identifying key talent requirements, analyzing talent gaps and opportunities, and developing integrated talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies.

• Lead and facilitate stakeholders through identification of strategic business priorities.
• Translate strategy into roles and segmented skill domains, including partnership across relevant functional leaders to develop high-quality, harmonized and vetted skill domain taxonomy.
• Forecast talent demand, by developing and maintaining forecasting models to predict talent gaps and surpluses, and identify opportunities to upskill or reskill existing employees.
• Analyze workforce trends, metrics and cost, including analysis of turnover rates, time-to-hire, time-to-train and workforce composition metrics, to inform talent strategy development. Analyze labor market, by conducting research and analysis of labor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform workforce planning decisions. Holistically assess budgets for workforce development initiatives, including forecasting costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Lead prioritization of roles and critical skill domain workforce gaps with relevant functional leaders and supporting HR functions, though consultation of prioritization framework, analysis and developing recommendations.
• Facilitate alignment of integrated talent strategies to close gaps and mitigate talent risks, by developing appropriate talent strategies in partnership with functional leadership, including development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of workforce planning initiatives.
• Partner with functional leaders and supporting HR functions to execute aligned talent strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with business leaders, HR partners, and other stakeholders to ensure that workforce planning initiatives are aligned with business objectives and that stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the workforce planning process.

Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve workforce planning processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. Integrate Strategic Workforce Planning with Headcount Planning and Resource Management processes and workforce requirements.

This is a remote position.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in workforce planning, talent management, or a related field.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic workforce plans that drive business results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop insights that inform business decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with workforce planning software and tools, such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
Desired Skills:
• Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Master’s Degree.
• Certification in workforce planning, such as the Certified Workforce Planner (CWP) or the Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) certification.
• Experience in a similar industry or sector, such as aerospace, defense, or technology.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate stakeholders.
• Experience with strategic planning and development, including the ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity.
• Knowledge of predictive analytics and machine learning techniques, and experience with tools such as R, Python, or SQL.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $128,400 - $222,640. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
