We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Advanced Cloud and AI Solutions team within the Enterprise Operations business area.
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the development, modification, testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications and IT infrastructure in support of cutting-edge AI solutions. You will be a key technical resource for our hands-on enablement services team, working closely with program engineering teams across all Lockheed Martin business areas to establish updated software development environments and release reusable components of a DevOps pipeline.

Your Impact:
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will have a direct impact on the success of Lockheed Martin's AI solutions. You will be responsible for:
• Developing, modifying, testing, deploying, and maintaining applications and IT infrastructure in support of cutting-edge AI solutions
• Being a key technical resource for our hands-on enablement services team, working closely with program engineering teams across all Lockheed Martin business areas
• Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging infrastructure software and scripts
• Participating in the full software development lifecycle using Scalable Agile Methodology
• Developing creative, straightforward solutions to technical and user experience challenges
• Participating in agile development processes including sprint/release planning and retrospectives
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design and deliver new features
• Designing and deploying hardware and cloud-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code solutions
• Deploying and sustaining complex Kubernetes platform offerings
• Providing inputs towards the architecture solution for software development environments
• Familiarity with AI and Machine Learning Services across cloud and on-premise environments
• Travel to support demonstration integration efforts
• Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with at least one or more Object Oriented Supported Languages: Golang, Java, Kotlin, Ruby, Python, .NET, JavaScript.
• Experience with modern software development concepts such as CI/CD, Micro-Service Oriented Architectures, Containerization, Infrastructure as Code, Agile Development.
• Experience in developing and deploying hardware infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with Linux, Windows and Kubernetes administration.
• Full Stack Development experience utilizing DevOps practices across cloud and on-premise solutions.
• Fundamental understanding around AI, Data Modeling and Engineering.
• A Secret security clearance is required.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
Desired Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in a software, engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
· Experience managing and deploying cloud and on prem infrastructure (Azure, AWS, VMWare, etc)
· Familiarity integrating DevOps tools into end-to-end CI/CD pipelines
· Ability to operate in an interactive local and virtual team environment using paired programming and test-driven development processes.
· Familiarity with AI/ML principles, SDKs, and API utilization across multiple platforms
· Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
· Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
· Working location close to major Lockheed Martin location
· Monitoring and maintaining the performance of AI-systems post deployment.
· Employing best practices around securing AI/ML data and tenets surrounding confidentiality, integrity and availability.
· Experience with Machine Learning models and algorithms including understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,800 - $186,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $85,900 - $164,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
