Job Responsibilities
Description:You will be the Manufacturing Planner Manager for Upper Tier Integrated Air and Missile Defense. Our team is responsible for supporting the contractual execution of various contracts, including Development, Production, and Post Production, ensuring seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in planning, coordinating, and executing manufacturing operations, leveraging your expertise in SAP, MS programs, and MRP/ERP systems to drive efficiency and excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and managing budgets, and assigning/managing projects to organizational units
• Leading a team of managers and staff to meet critical schedules, resolve operational issues, and create a data-driven culture
• Collaborating with multiple levels of management, industry peers, and internal and external customers to ensure successful project outcomes
• Managing functional leaders in creating, monitoring, and reporting on executive operations metrics
• Ensuring compliance with industry-wide best practices and processes for managing material flow throughout the production supply chain

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Previous leadership experience
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge and experience with SAP, and MS programs.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, and internal and external customers.
• Related experience in MRP and ERP systems.
• Experience assigning/managing projects to organizational unit by leading team of managers and/or staff to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and time sensitive operational issues.
• Demonstrated ability to manage functional leaders in creating, monitoring and reporting on all executive operations metrics.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance. An Interim Secret is required prior to starting.
Desired Skills:
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) extensive user experience or implementation.
• Knowledge of industry wide best practices and processes for managing material flow throughout the entire Production supply chain.
• Strategic thinker with lean manufacturing focus / (Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification preferred).
• Experience managing scalable Ground/Interceptor/Post-Production /Development efforts.
• Experience working Program proposals to establish labor budgets.
• Previous experience successfully creating, leading, and sustaining a data driven culture.
• Proven ability to build and lead cross functional teams to maximized output.
• Experience supporting MMAS (Material Management and Accounting System).
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
