THE WORK
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking a Subcontract Manager for a position in Stratford, CT. As a Subcontract Manager supporting the Sikorsky line of business, you will play a pivotal role in our subcontract management team. You will be responsible for overseeing significant subcontracts Your work will involve close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring quick decision-making and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Your experience allows you to handle complex contracts with ease, ensuring that all aspects of the subcontract are managed effectively. Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience or 4 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
• Proven problem solving and negotiation skills
• Procurement experience
• Knowledge of FAR / DFAR contracting
• Knowledge of various contracting types
(Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, Incentive Fee, Award
Fee, T&M, etc.,.)
• Project / Program Management experience
Desired Skills:
• Lockheed Martin Supply Chain Experience
• Well organized and able to prioritize competing requirements
• Working knowledge of Rotary business and supply base
• Effectively communicate with all stakeholders (leadership, peers, suppliers)
• Strong negotiations skills
• Proven ability to collaborate with supplier
• Strong technical background relative to suppliers
• Proven ability to analyze proposals to verify accuracy, completeness and compliance
• EVMS proven experience
• Ability to manage SDRL's (Subcontract Data Required Line Items)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
