THE WORK
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to provide exceptional administrative support to our Assembly and Flight Operations team. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational, communication, and technical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role will require a high level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism in supporting senior-level executives and management staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to senior-level executives and management staff, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
Coordinate and prepare meetings, presentations, and special events, including preparing agendas, minutes, and other materials as needed.
Develop and implement effective filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure accurate and efficient retrieval of documents and information.
Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents, including proofreading and formatting, to ensure high-quality output.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of company policies, procedures, and protocols to provide informed support and guidance to staff.
Provide backup support to other administrative staff as needed.
Develop and implement administrative processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.

Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks and 2 or more years of Administrative experience
• Must be proficient in the full complement of Microsoft Office Suite and possess skills to compose correspondence and create presentation slides deck. (i.e. Outlook/Calendar Management, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Experience arranging meetings, making travel arrangements, completing expense reports in
support of leaders and other program team members.
• Manage multiple personal and site calendars, and to assist with completing a variety of in-depth reports that are presented to upper management.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with domestic & international travel arrangements and expense reports using Concur or other travel expense system
• Ability to learn company specific systems at a fast pace and determine priorities to manage
tasks effectively and expeditiously.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal and external management and staff.
• Work experience in a government contract environment.
• Demonstrates a professional presence as the liaison of several different functions at the site, as well as, the first point of contact for a variety of corporate executives and external military officers.
• Experience with SharePoint

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
