THE WORK
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Procurement Representative. for a position in Stratford, CT supporting the Sikorsky Line of Business.

•In this role, you will source, negotiate and purchase machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization.
• Compile and analyze statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives.
• Monitor performance of suppliers.
• Compile information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate areas of opportunity to leverage material acquisitions. Track data to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
• Negotiate with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
• Review proposals, negotiate prices, select or recommend suppliers, analyze trends, follow up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records.
• May prepare request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
• The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Bill of Material development and population.
• Project management of key suppliers throughout capture process.
• Must be a US Citizen.

You are detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of procurement processes, subcontract management, and contract negotiations. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and have experience analyzing proposals, developing evaluation criteria, and negotiating complex contract terms. Your expertise in managing multiple contracts, coupled with your ability to adapt to changing project needs, ensures that you can handle high-stakes negotiations and execute successful procurements.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education

• Ability to work well with numbers, data

• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment

• Proficient in MS Office and data analysis/reporting tools
Desired Skills:
• Strong desire to become Supply Chain professionals
• Demonstrated ability to create RFQs for RF commodities procurements
• Demonstrated ability to drive Supplier performance and accountability
• SAP experience
• Knowledge of Rotary business
• Project management experience
• Self - starter

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
