Description:WHAT WE'RE DOING
At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), we support critical defense and aerospace missions worldwide, delivering cutting-edge technology and innovation. Our Subcontract Management organization functions as the cornerstone of supply chain excellence, ensuring that the work we do adheres to fair, transparent, and efficient cost management practices. As part of our commitment to excellence, our Price Cost Analysts help drive the success of numerous programs across multiple product lines by performing critical cost and price analyses of supplier proposals in alignment with federal acquisition regulations (FAR).

THE WORK
As a Price Cost Analyst, Sr. Staff, in our Center of Excellence, you will play a vital role in evaluating certified proposals submitted by subcontractors and suppliers. Your work will involve detailed analysis of cost elements such as direct materials and labor hours, auditing direct (labor) and indirect (overhead) rates, and making determinations regarding fair and reasonable pricing. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Subcontract Management, Engineering, Material Cost Estimating, Programs, Compliance and government agencies to produce comprehensive written reports that inform decisions and contribute to prime proposal submissions. In addition to your analysis, you will provide support during price negotiations.

Travel (10-20%) is required as certain audits are conducted at subcontractor facilities.
Occasionally, you may be called upon to support inquiries from US Government customers regarding your findings. Your expertise will also contribute to organizational initiatives, including process improvement and cost-estimating advancements. The role involves a mix of independent work and collaboration, both virtually and on-site at a LM location.

WHO YOU ARE

You have a basic understanding of federal acquisition regulations, particularly FAR 15.4, and experience working with subcontractors or suppliers. Your analytical skills allow you to break down complex cost proposals and conduct thorough audits, while your communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
You thrive in a collaborative environment but are also comfortable working independently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
