THE WORK
As an Industrial Engineer within our Blades Integrated Product Team, you’ll handle tasks essential to improving manufacturing processes and productivity. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Managing manpower loading, capacity planning, workflow, and lead-time analysis.
Conducting labor performance analysis and developing standard data to support cost-effective manufacturing.
Justifying capital equipment, conducting process observations, and performing learning curve analyses to drive operational improvements.
Developing and utilizing daily and weekly reports to monitor manufacturing labor costs, affordability, and production schedules.
In this role, you’ll utilize a suite of tools—Excel, Visio, Access, PowerPoint, Project, SQL, and Tableau, among others—to conduct in-depth data analyses. Collaborating with Operations Leadership, you’ll influence operating methods, implement new technologies, and redesign production layouts to optimize our facilities for future growth.

Your expertise in production analysis and experience with engineering tools like Excel and SQL enables you to develop and deliver actionable insights that drive continuous improvement. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
Desired Skills:
-Excel Macros, Structured Query Language (SQL), Tableau design
-Experience with Systems, Applications and Products (SAP)
-Greenbelt Certified -experience with LSS and leading process improvement activities
-Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices
-Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
-Experience in applications of learning curves
Aircraft Production, Maintenance, Modification, Repair and/or Overhaul Experience
-Knowledge Work Measurements and Time Standards, Productivity and Performance management, Capacity Analysis, Cost Analysis and Estimating
-Previous Sikorsky Operations Experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
