THE WORK
As an Industrial Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of improving our manufacturing processes and driving productivity. Your expertise will help shape the way we plan, execute, and enhance operations within our dynamic components division. Key responsibilities include:
Manpower & Capacity Planning – Managing workforce allocation, capacity analysis, workflow efficiency, and lead-time reduction.
Labor Performance & Cost Analysis – Conducting detailed labor studies and developing standard data to drive cost-effective manufacturing.
Operational Improvements – Justifying capital equipment investments, performing process observations, and conducting learning curve analyses to enhance production efficiency.
Data-Driven Decision Making – Developing and leveraging daily and weekly reports to monitor labor costs, affordability, and production schedules.
Collaboration & Innovation – Partnering with Operations Leadership to influence operating methods, implement new technologies, and optimize production layouts for future growth.
In this role, you’ll utilize a suite of analytical tools—including Excel, Visio, Access, PowerPoint, Project, SQL, and Tableau—to conduct in-depth data analysis and drive informed decision-making.

A degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in manufacturing operations, process improvement, or capacity planning.
Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Visio.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 1 year of professional experience; or a related Masters degree.
Desired Skills:
-Excel Macros, Structured Query Language (SQL), Tableau design
-Experience with Systems, Applications and Products (SAP)
-Greenbelt Certified -experience with LSS and leading process improvement activities
-Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices
-Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
-Experience in applications of learning curves
Aircraft Production, Maintenance, Modification, Repair and/or Overhaul Experience
-Knowledge Work Measurements and Time Standards, Productivity and Performance management, Capacity Analysis, Cost Analysis and Estimating
-Self starter, ambitious, eager to make a difference
-Previous Sikorsky Operations Experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
