THE WORK
You will be instrumental in enhancing manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and designing workflows to optimize production facilities, equipment layouts, and personnel utilization. Your role will encompass:
Process Improvement: Analyze and design sequences of operations and workflows to enhance efficiencies in plant and production facilities, as well as optimize equipment layouts.
Cost Control and Optimization: Conduct studies focused on cost control, cost reduction, inventory management, and production record systems to support data-driven decision-making.
Manufacturing Efficiency: Perform critical functions such as manpower loading, capacity analysis, workflow/lead-time assessments, labor monitoring, and performance measurement to streamline operations.
Data Analysis and Insights: Leverage tools like Microsoft Excel, Visio, Access, PowerPoint, Project, SQL, and Tableau to deliver insights through daily and weekly labor cost metrics reports, focusing on affordability, schedule adherence, and production goals.
Collaboration and Implementation: Partner with Operations Leadership to develop and execute strategies that introduce new technologies, refine processes, and support facility modifications to meet evolving production needs.
Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement initiatives and optimize production layouts for future scalability.
In addition to these responsibilities, this role will oversee the MES/Solumina Operations Help Desk, supporting operational and quality issue resolution by:
Approving accounts for Operations and Quality teams.
Managing the auto-serialization table.
Addressing Solumina-related issues, including work orders and serial number tracking.
Furthermore, you will lead the implementation of the RMS common MES and Timekeeping systems for Rotary Operations. As the designated production operations lead, you will be responsible for:
Coordinating planning, organization, control, integration, and project completion within your assigned area.
Developing and executing programs to ensure compliance with company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
Reviewing product designs to ensure adherence to established standards.
Managing technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test challenges.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 7 years of professional experience; or 6 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices.
Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments.
Experience in applications of learning curves.
Desired Skills:
Greenbelt Certified -experience leading process improvement activities
Earned Value Management (EVM), an understanding of Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI)
Aircraft Production, Maintenance, Modification, Repair and/or Overhaul Experience
Knowledge Work Measurements and Time Standards, Productivity and Performance management, Capacity Analysis, Cost Analysis and Estimating.
Experience with Excel Macros, Structured Query Language (SQL), Tableau, Alteryx
Experience with Systems, Applications and Products (SAP)
Previous Sikorsky Operations experience
Solumina and or other MES experience in an operations environment.
IT Project implementation experience.
SAP, Tempo and Autotime experience are also a plus.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
