The Work
As the Construction Project Manager, you will oversee the management of construction projects and rearrangement activities for all Connecticut sites. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and monitoring capital and expense budgets to ensure compliance with established project budgets and spending profiles.
Developing and tracking project schedules to ensure timely completion.
Collaborating with the Procurement team to schedule and oversee the bidding and procurement of materials and contracted services.
Supporting lean manufacturing and International Trade Compliance (ITC) initiatives within the organization.
Providing technical assistance to various Sikorsky entities regarding project management and factory/office planning, which may require travel.
Working closely with the Environment, Safety, and Health (ESH) organization to support initiatives such as Go Green energy reduction projects and the Contractor Review Board.
Contributing to the department's Digital Transformation and 1LM initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree with 5 years of professional experience or equivalent experience or a Master's Degree with 3+ years professional experience.
Demonstrated expertise in leading construction projects, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on construction site experience.
Proven experience in managing construction projects including budget, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience.
Proven experience in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and AutoCAD, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience.
Experience in leading a team, as well as the proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
U.S Citizenship Required
Desired Skills:
Construction Management degree preferred.
Good communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present to internal and external customers within LM.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with senior management, employees and customers, and interface with various departments.
Possess strong adaptability skills including the ability to handle multiple tasks .
Willing to work in a creative, fast-paced atmosphere and as a team player.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
