WHO YOU ARE
Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, a Lockheed Martin Company is looking for a driven and energetic candidate to join the team as a Contracts Management Associate professional supporting Army & Air Force Systems (AAFS) Aftermarket programs.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Preparing contract work product such as proposals, contracts, letters, terms and conditions, and modification documents.
• Review and evaluate customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for new business efforts and/or modifications to existing contracts.
• Ensuring contracts are negotiated and administered in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Lockheed Martin policies and procedures.
• Provide contractual recommendations, conduct risk assessments, create mitigation plans, and propose alternative approaches to contract execution through contract language revisions.
• Preparing and presenting briefings to management and customers.
• Collaborate with associated functional organizations and customers to ensure conformance with contractual obligations, remain cognizant of potential or existing problem areas, and implement required corrective actions.
• Continuously evaluate and oversee contract performance.
• Ensure timely contract closure by initiating closeout activities as required by terms and conditions.
• Create contract closeout schedules and coordinate with functional areas to drive closure of administrative tasks as required by company policies and federal regulations.

Additionally, the candidate must maintain a high standard of ethics while understanding and implementing Lockheed Martin corporate policies and procedures. Candidate should be a self-starter with strong follow-up skills. An ability to comprehend complex financial and business concepts and suggest viable alternatives during negotiation is desired. Should be able to handle multiple assignments and achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidate will be required to become familiar with the unique program requirements in minimal time.

Candidate should possess computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to grasp other software applications (i.e. SAP, ECE, PLD, etc.) required to perform job duties; have excellent written and oral communication skills; should be detail and teamwork oriented with excellent organizational and prioritization skills; and possess strong interpersonal skills. Develops and maintains good working relationships with customers, integrated program team members, and industry peers.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.

- Excellent verbal, writing, and relationship building skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
