THE WORK
As a Capture Manager Staff – International Sustainment, you will lead major aftermarket proposal and agreement activities for both current and legacy helicopters across global markets. This role focuses on strategic, long-term business opportunities, working at the intersection of sales, program management, and sustainment operations. You will drive the proposal process from initial strategy development through contract closure, supporting negotiations and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Your responsibilities will include managing competitive and sole-source bids of varying complexity, covering aftermarket products and services such as publications, training, logistics, engineering services, license agreements, aircraft product improvements, and major modifications. Additionally, you may support product improvement initiatives and cross-train in government capture activities.

Proficiency in maintaining data within a CRM system.

Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree with 10+ years of professional experience
or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
• 6+ years of experience directly applicable to business transactions, proposals, pricing, and negotiations.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communications skills, must be able to present clearly and concisely to internal and external customers.
• Ability to understand pricing models.
• Aptitude for working in high volume / high value sales transactions.
• Strong aptitude for customer relationship development (internal and external customers).
Desired Skills:
• Desire to drive new business by leading and shaping customer requests into winning, executable bids.
• Able to create unique solutions to unusual or complex requirements
• Prior Program Management experience
• Experience with helicopter operations and sustainment, particularly Black Hawk®

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
