As a program security professional at Lockheed Martin, you’ll safeguard the sensitive information and warfighting capabilities that our citizens and the world depend upon to protect U.S. and ally interests. Here, you’ll work alongside other program security experts and military members to support their military operational objectives by providing them with a safe and secure operating environment. In this fast-paced, real-world environment, you’ll draw on all your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep these exquisite capabilities protected.
The Work:
Duties will include but are not limited to:
This position is located at MCAS Miramar, CA and will support the F-35 security operations. Due to the dynamic environment supporting flying operations, and pilot training the incumbent may be required support either first, second or third shift operations to include weekends as required. While assigned shifts should be stable, applicants may be required to change shifts, if necessary, to support mission requirements. On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule that differ from their primary shift being hired for. Some travel may be required. Due to local mission requirements, a Top Secret/SCI clearance will be required, in the future.
Duties will include, but are not limited to: assist instructors, students and visitors using facilities; operate badging and access control systems; monitor security camera systems; perform random entry/exit searches; enforce all DoN, local security procedures and practices, DoD Manual 5205.07 Vol 1-4, ICD 705, TSCO responsibilities, controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, and monitoring compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC; provide assistance with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers; change combinations and generate SF 700s; assist in self inspections and prepare for customer inspections; perform and document vault alarm tests; assist in security inquiries; assist in providing training and scheduling of vault hours and coverage in specified squadrons or Pilot Training Center (PTC), and additional duties as required/assigned.

In support of our US Marine Corps, US Navy and US Air Force customers, members of the team are responsible for providing all aspects of security support services such as, Physical Security (PHYSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC) Collateral Security, Security Education and Training (SETA), Access Control, Media Control, Construction Security Management, and Squadron deployment support.
On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule that differ from their primary shift being hired for.

Basic Qualifications:
Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 6 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program if and when local mission requirements dictate.
Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) if/when mission requirements dictate.
Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.
Desired Skills:
1. Experience working in a Special Access Program (SAP) environment.
2. Experience working in a military environment,
specifically the USMC.
3. Prior experience working with and implementing Standard Operating Procedures, Security Plans, and Operations.
Knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1-3, ICD 705 and associated Technical Specifications.
4. Experience providing briefings and/or training.
5. Experience with DISS or JPAS
5. Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $55,100 - $105,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $63,500 - $119,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
