Description:What We're Doing
As a Facility Maintenance Mechanic at the Lockheed Martin Riviera Beach location, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the facility operates efficiently every day. We maintain the systems and infrastructure that power our work environment, ensuring everything from routine maintenance to emergency repairs is handled seamlessly.
The Work
As the Facility Maintenance Mechanic, you will be involved in a range of responsibilities, including:
Routine Repairs & Maintenance: Supporting the upkeep of plant and office facilities and equipment. This includes performing tasks such as carpentry, electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, plumbing, and sheet metal fabrication.
Troubleshooting & Reporting: Identifying equipment or facility issues and reporting them to the supervisor for further action.
Interpreting Technical Documents: Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, and other technical drawings.
Inspections: Conducting routine inspections to assess the need for repair or maintenance and taking appropriate action.
Physical Demands: You may be required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and work from ground level to overhead. This position also involves frequent standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, and other physical tasks.
You must also be available to respond to off-hour calls and emergencies, ensuring the facility remains operational at all times.

Basic Qualifications:
*Must be available to respond to off hour calls and emergencies
* May be required to lift/carry 50 pounds or more, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead. This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting.
Candidate must have a minimum of 1-5 years maintenance experience.
Experience with using repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
Experience using common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
Experience performing routine maintenance.

Proficient Computer skills: Word, Excel (able to learn new systems as needed).
Able to work after hours and respond to emergency's when needed.
Able to drive forklifts, man lifts, and fleet vehicles

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
