Description:Your Mission:
At Lockheed Martin, we're on a mission to find an accomplished Senior Information Assurance Engineer in our Corporate Information Security (CIS) division, working directly with the RMS (Rotary and Mission Systems) Information Security Officer’s (ISO) Security Operations & Privacy Team. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for IT cybersecurity, safeguarding our systems and information from ever-evolving threats.

As a vital member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Corporate Information Security-driven initiatives, monitoring RMS systems to ensure security controls, remote access requirements, and vulnerability updates are properly managed and addressed. You will have the opportunity to develop and execute harmonized processes in support of the 1LMX direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize various tools to troubleshoot RMS BA IT issues thought to be security related
• Participate in the investigation of all cyber incidents, including malware, lost/stolen devices, data spills, zero-days, phishing campaigns, and policy infractions
• Collaborate with RMS IT, program POCs, IT Business Partners, Corporate Information Security, Corporate Privacy, and our peers in the respective Business Area ISO Teams
• Demonstrate strong technical acumen and effective soft skills, with a focus on business acumen

Like Fridays off? This role is scoped on a 4x10 Schedule (Mon-Thur) and is fully remote, though there will be periodic travel to LM facilities for business-critical tasks. Physical proximity to a core Lockheed Martin facility is strongly preferred.

Basic Qualifications:
• Hands-on cybersecurity and/or Information Technology experience, within the consecutive past 5 years, in one or more of the following disciplines: infrastructure, network engineering, applications, cloud or systems administration (Windows or *nix) or cyber awareness.
• Understanding of Information Security standards, best practices, architectural standards, blueprints, and controls requirements
• Demonstrated understanding of project management (planning, tracking and reporting of status / metrics, lessons learned)
• Demonstrated understanding or troubleshooting knowledge of LM Security / investigation tools such as Crowdstrike, ZScaler, Tenable, Splunk, Service Central or the like.
• Demonstrated understanding of network security architecture & boundaries (eg. traffic flows, network devices, TCP/IP model, Internet Protocol Suite, firewalls, anti-virus software, authentication systems, content filtering, proxies)
• Effective analytical and critical thinking skills – proven problem solving and follow-thru in high-pressure situations
• Proven ability to prioritize and work multiple efforts simultaneously
• Open to providing and requesting feedback from teammates and stakeholders while also recognizing excellent service/work from others (both formally and informally)
• Demonstrated understanding of Growth Mindset and principles.

Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of Cyber best practices or Lockheed Martin Information Security policies, architectural standards, blueprints, and controls requirements
• Experience with Agile methodologies

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $103,100 - $194,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $89,600 - $171,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
