This is a Systems & Software Quality Engineering
position
supporting the LM Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) F-35
Training Systems (TS) Program, based in Orlando, FL.
The position will support the Training Systems segment of F-35,
reporting functionally to the LM RMS Engineering Quality Functional Manager
for F-35 TS and interfacing with F-35 Training System (TS)
Quality Program Management on Engineering Quality Assurance
(EQA) work tasks and priorities. Will be expected to quickly
come-up to speed with the F-35 TS products, System &
Software EQA work scope, technical requirements, program
risks, and delivery milestone schedule. The F-35 Quality
Engineer’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Help Identify root causes and associated corrective actions, evaluate process/product performance, and
participate/interface with the engineering counterparts on program activities to assure processes and products are compliant to contractual requirements
• Ability to evaluate data to identify systemic issues and trends
• Provide inputs to Systems & Software Quality Engineering Leadership to ensure sound labor estimates on ECPs and ongoing proposal efforts
• Perform direct verification and validation of systems and software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.
• Implement processes and methods for systems and software development, quality and maintenance.
• Ensure project and process documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and contract by reviewing design, change specifications, plans, tools, techniques, and methodologies.
• Participate in the F-35 TS change control process boards (ERC/CRB), as required
• Witness and ensure the quality of F-35 TS integration and test activities and formal testing and acceptance events.
• Support security and information assurance activities, including verification and validation of cyber security activities and work products.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a demonstrated history of strong performance and ability to take initiative across a variety of QA responsibilities/tasks on development and/or sustainment programs.
Proven audit experience.
Use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with System & Software Engineering requirements, design, integration and test.
and development methodologies.
Ability to obtain secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
Good understanding of software dependencies, process flow
Excellent communication skills.
Quality and Software Quality engineering experience. DoD
contract experience. Knowledge of LM RMS processes and
procedures. Lean/Six Sigma black (or green) belt. Knowledge of
software development lifecycles such as Agile Development.
Knowledge of C/C++, C#, Java and Scripting Languages.
Auditing Experience. Systems and Hardware Engineering a plus.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
