Description:Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business, the leading provider and pioneer for exceptional weapon systems, sensors, and services is seeking a Sr Reliability Engineer to join their team in sunny Orlando, FL.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Sr Reliability Engineer you will impact everything from Reliability Studies to Project Completion. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Individual will be Rotary Wing Sensors / Apache Program Integrated Technical Operations Center (ITOC) team member. Performs ITOC tasks in support of RWS and Apache programs. Guides the successful completion of major projects and may function in a project leadership role. Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Represents the organization as a prime technical contact on contracts and projects. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations. Considered a practiced authority.

Main ITOC activities include:
Support TADS/PNVS & FCR ITOC program activities
Communicating with engineering and Contractor Field Service Representative CFSR)
Monitoring FRACAS trends to identify System BIT improvements.
Analysis of wire-code (WC) procedures to resolve field issues.
Develop, coordinate and conduct technical reliability studies & evaluations of engineering design.
Compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics; investigate and analyze relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes and as necessary, proposes changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability.
Performance of Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
Support & present at customer venues on reliability/ITOC topics
Working with international customers to resolve tech queries.
Generate, review, and deliver technical training of TADS/PNVS & FCR Sensors
ITOC Team responsibilities entail identifying and resolving electro/optical mechanical technical issues and hardware/software integration; Troubleshooting technical problems and issues, determine technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, analyze data to identify failure trends and recommending actions to company or customer representatives for coordinated product solution; Interacting with subcontractors; report and white paper writing; software/hardware integration/troubleshooting; Corrective Action Board (CAB), Engineering Screening Board (ESB), Engineering Change Board (ECB), Failure Review Boards (FRB), and Directors Capital Review Board (DCRB) support; and Conduct of technical training and product briefings with customers, vendors and company representatives.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience.

-Reliability Engineering experience including: FRACAS, FMECA, Predictions, Plans.

-Corrective Action Board and Failure Review Board experience.

-Engineering Screening Board.

-Working knowledge of statistical process control techniques.

-Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Desired Skills:
Experience with AH-64 Apache sensors maintenance activities and operations.

A high degree of Information Technology skills to allow development of minor software routines to perform data compilation for trends analysis, graphical presentations, and reports generation are preferred.

Ability to work in a cross-functional IPT environment.

Familiarity with statistical analysis and current modeling tools and techniques.

Attention to details is paramount to compare results with multiple data sets.

Individual must be a self-starter capable of effectively managing multiple tasks.

Strong organizational skills and be detailed oriented towards project management.

Prior military experience.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
