THE WORK

In this role, you will:
• Manage purchasing requirements to ensure they are aligned with the Manufacturing Internal Operating Plan (IOP).
• Collaborate with buyers to resolve any issues affecting the timely placement of Purchase Requisitions.
• Expedite and manage material flow to meet program needs, ensuring timely delivery from suppliers.
• Work closely with the Supplier Management Team (SMT), Supply Chain Analyst (SCA), and Supply Chain Management (SCM) to maintain up-to-date delivery statuses in the Supplier Management Module (SMM) and P2P systems.
• Ensure current delivery dates are accurately reflected and communicated during Program meetings.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from accredited college in
Management or related Business discipline
SAP or similar ERP experience
4+ years of relevant experience
Desired Skills:
Experience with supply chain activities to include procurement systems, production schedules, and IPT structures
LMAP knowledge
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Critical thinker/Problem Solver
Prior experience in a related industry preferred
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
Demonstrated experience with negotiating skills.
Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills required in a team environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience in a manufacturing supply chain environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
