Description:
The individual will be responsible for the following:
•Conduct required work measurement, cost reduction, process/product flow analysis, and capacity utilization studies. Develop and assist team in executing modifications based on desired results.
• Responsible for program layout planning and implementation including capital project management.
• Support Performance Management Team (PMT) in basic performance metric analysis, productivity improvement identification, cost analyses and solution implementation.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred. The candidate will be expected to utilize the Lean Six Sigma tools to generate continuous improvements in support of the multiple programs.
• Candidate must be customer-focused with good oral and written communication skills. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and work effectively team and all levels of management.
• Candidate should be a self-starter with demonstrated self-initiated goals and results.
• Candidate should be familiar with Capacity Requirements Planning activities.
• Providing support regarding finding and using appropriate data for analyzing production operations
• Providing support to the Industrial Engineering team regarding finding and using appropriate data for analyzing production operations.
• Act as the primary point of contact within the Industrial Engineering team for data visualization (e.g., Tableau) and production floor dashboards.
• Maintain data and devise data updating processes for Industrial Engineering-owned data sets.
Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years’ experience with data analysis including data manipulation and preparation, reporting, and visualization in support of business operations
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or related technical field
• Strong proficiency in data visualization using software such as Tableau, Spotfire, PowerBI, or Qlik
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas and VBA
• Experience with writing SQL
• Experience with SAP HANA, MS SQL, MySQL, or related database systems
• Demonstrated ability to apply technical solutions to business problems
• Ability for creative problem solving using technology
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Desired Skills:
• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or related technical field
• Experience in developing complex analytical products and reporting from raw data through final visualization
• Ability to find and understand connections in data through independent exploration
• Experience with SAP data and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) functionality
• Experience with programming languages including Python

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
