At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), we are delivering cutting-edge training systems that prepare our allies and partners around the globe for mission success. As part of our international programs portfolio, we are expanding our presence in South Korea to support the Republic of Korea Air Force (RoKAF) with advanced F-16 Training Systems. This is a unique opportunity to represent Lockheed Martin onsite while managing high-visibility work with key global stakeholders.
THE WORK
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Program Manager for a 36-month international assignment in South Korea. In this role, you’ll be the primary in-country contact for the customer (RoKAF and DAPA), our subcontractor (Korea Aerospace Industries – KAI), and other stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day program execution across multiple locations in Korea, serving as the face of Lockheed Martin and ensuring alignment between in-country activities and the broader F-16 Korea Program team based in the United States. Responsibilities include managing subcontractor and customer relationships, tracking technical and financial performance, and resolving integration issues on the ground. You’ll also coordinate with the Korea Lockheed Martin International office and interface with U.S. government counterparts to support successful contract delivery.

You’re a seasoned program manager with strong communication skills, cultural adaptability, and a track record of working independently in dynamic environments. You’re comfortable navigating complex stakeholder relationships, managing subcontractor performance, and aligning global teams across multiple time zones. You’re organized, diplomatic, and driven to deliver. Prior experience supporting international programs or assignments is a plus, especially if you’ve worked with U.S. or foreign government customers.

Basic Qualifications:
Successful candidate will have demonstrated leading multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment with internal and external customers. Key qualifications include:
• Program/ Project Management experience.
• Strong System Integration background with the ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
• Fluent in Korean language.
• Strong communications skills and demonstrated ability to establish positive relationships with key customers and suppliers.
• Proven ability to successfully work with geographically dispersed teams with a record of delivering positive results.
• Must be able to excel in fast-paced, high-demand environments with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task.
• Must be willing and able to travel to CONUS LM location as required.
• The ability to access Korean military facilities as well as experience working and operating on them.
Desired Skills:
• Proven experience executing international contracts.
• Prior experience with Korean customers and international business.
• Advanced technical acumen including the ability to investigate, comprehend, and interpret complex technical challenges, and think and act both strategically and tactically.
• Flight Simulation and Training Experience.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
