THE WORK
As a Program Manager within Common Test Solutions, you will manage and execute multiple contracts with the United States Navy and Air Force, ensuring performance across all program elements—cost, schedule, and technical execution. This role focuses on the successful execution of programs under the Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) vehicle in collaboration with another Line of Business within Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS). Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading cross-functional teams, integrating professionals from engineering, supply chain, operations, and support functions.
• Managing cost, schedule, and performance to meet contract baselines.
• Driving processes, managing risks and opportunities, and developing corrective actions as needed.
• Creating and maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding the priorities of both the Navy and Air Force.
• Contributing to future business strategy by defining solutions, capturing new contracts, and participating in proposals.

You’re an experienced program manager with a strong background in managing complex defense contracts. You have a strategic mindset, an ability to integrate data, and a talent for leading diverse teams toward a common goal. You thrive in high-visibility roles and have a deep understanding of customer priorities and expectations. You possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with customers and cross-functional teams.
Basic Qualifications:
• Proven experience in program management, including cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and integrate cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with external customers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience developing strategies and supporting proposals to capture new business opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to qualify for a Secret Clearance
• Demonstrated program management, and customer interface experience
• Ability to lead and motivate a cross functional program team
• Ability to develop, create, and execute a strategy to grow new business opportunities
• Experience troubleshooting and leading through program performance issues
• Demonstrated excellent team building and interpersonal skills, capable of relationship building with customers and employees at all levels and across multiple geographic locations
• Ability to travel domestically on an as needed basis
Desired Skills:
• Experience working with other LM Business areas
• Experience working development and production contracts
• Program Management Level 2 Certification or higher
• Automated Test Equipment programmatic experience
• Demonstrated proposal management experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
