The Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) Training System provides realistic and effective training for U.S. Air Force CRH aircrew and maintainers. This comprehensive training system includes high-fidelity flight simulators, part-task trainers, and advanced training delivery solutions.

THE WORK

As a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) for the CRH Training System, you will play a crucial role in supporting program execution on a Firm Fixed Price contract, ensuring we meet cost, schedule, and technical objectives while achieving corporate ROS (sales, orders, EBIT) commitments. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing program execution and delivery of training products and services to ensure program success.
Supporting program startup and execution, focusing on staffing, risk management, cost control, schedule adherence, and technical performance.
Collaborating with the Training Program Manager to identify program challenges and implement effective solutions.
Preparing and supporting executive reviews, providing key insights into program performance.
Serving as the primary interface with Sikorsky stakeholders and customer counterparts on all CRH training matters.
Building and maintaining strong relationships across customer and cross-functional teams to drive program success.

You are a proven leader with experience in program management, particularly within defense training systems or aviation programs. You excel in cross-functional collaboration and are skilled in balancing technical, financial, and schedule requirements. You bring:

Program management experience with a strong understanding of Firm Fixed Price contracts.
Knowledge of training system development, integration, and execution.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior stakeholders and customers.
A track record of problem-solving and risk mitigation in complex program environments.

Basic Qualifications:
• Strong interpersonal skills with teamwork and transparency as a priority
• Demonstrable written communication and oral presentation skills
• Understanding of Earned Value Management and processes associated with development, implementation, and management of cost and schedule baselines
• Demonstrated Control Account Manager (CAM) experience
• Expertise in relationship building and strong communication with internal and external customers and employees at all levels and across multiple cultures
• Proven background of demonstrating initiative and ability to drive issues/actions to closure
• Demonstrated design/development experience
• DOD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience working with the US Air Force/other military customers
• Prior experience leading skilled professionals
• Risk & Opportunity experience
• Capture/proposal experience
• Training and Simulation experience
• Ability to travel to domestically and internationally (~25%)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
